Punishment & Enforcement

Our progressive system for handling rule violations. Repeat offenses will result in an escalated punishment tier.

Staff Discretion is Final: These guidelines are for reference. Staff will assess every situation on a case-by-case basis and have final say on all punishments. Attempting to find loopholes in the rules is a punishable offense.

Rule Infractions Explorer

Select a severity to see the associated behaviors and their potential consequences.

  • Spamming chat, messages, or emotes.
  • Soundboard spam in voice channels.
  • Off-topic discussions in dedicated channels.
  • Disregarding channels marked with 'DND' (Do Not Disturb).
  • All spoilers for new media or esports matches must be properly tagged.
  • Minor disruptions during community events.
  • Direct personal insults toward community members.
  • Targeted negativity or disrespect toward specific players.
  • Usernames, nicknames, and profile pictures must be appropriate and SFW.
  • Deliberately disrupting community events or matches.
  • Publicly undermining or being disrespectful towards staff decisions.
  • Inflammatory political or religious discussions.
  • Sustained, targeted harassment of a user.
  • Sending unsolicited or harassing Direct Messages (DMs) to other members.
  • Use of racial or homophobic slurs.
  • Encouraging others to break rules.
  • Circumventing mutes, timeouts, or other moderator actions.
  • Sharing another person's real-life pictures without their explicit consent.
  • Substantial xenophobia or regional prejudice.
  • Extreme or graphic hate speech.
  • Threats or blackmail.
  • Sharing inappropriate content (NSFW, gore, etc.).
  • Ban evasion on an alternate account.
  • Promotion or distribution of cheats, hacks, scripts, or game exploits.
  • Maliciously impersonating a staff member.
  • Advertising or promoting other communities, servers, or services.
  • Posting links or files containing viruses, malware, or other malicious content.
  • Sharing illegal content.
  • Doxxing or sharing private information with malicious intent.
  • Real-world threats of violence.
  • Any activity that violates Discord's Terms of Service.

In-House Queue Rules

These rules are in addition to the Community Guidelines and apply specifically to our 5v5 custom matches.

  • Commitment & Availability
  • Be available for a full 40-60 minute match before queueing.
  • You must leave the tournament lobby after games.
  • Leave queue immediately if unexpected obligations arise.
  • AFK players receive an automatic 3-hour queue ban.
  • Queueing without sufficient time is a punishable violation.
  • Voice Communication
  • You must join and remain in the correct voice chat for the entire match.
  • Report microphone issues to staff before the match begins.
  • Leaving voice chat mid-game without an emergency is prohibited.
  • Do not join the other team's VC without a valid reason (e.g., communicating a misspick).
  • Role & Champion Select
  • You may swap assigned roles only if your teammate agrees.
  • To play an off-meta pick or build, you must have approval from at least 3 members of your team (including yourself).
  • If you miss your ban timer, you forfeit that ban. No remakes will be provided.
  • If you misclick a champion, immediately declare "mispick" in the enemy VC with your intended pick.
  • Competitive Integrity
  • Deliberate feeding, trolling, or any form of sabotage is strictly prohibited.
  • Do not excessively ping teammates or engage in disruptive "backseat gaming."
  • Only pause for legitimate reasons (e.g., disconnects). All players must agree to unpause.
  • If a dispute arises, contact a staff member immediately. Do not continue the match while arguing.
  • Surrendering without valid reason or excessive complaining is considered griefing.
  • Main Account Policy
  • You must link and play on your highest-ranked Riot account.
  • Using alternative/smurf accounts is strictly forbidden.
  • Playing on purchased, shared, or boosted accounts is forbidden.
  • Refusing verification or providing false information results in an immediate ban. Verified smurfing results in a permanent queue ban.

We are committed to fostering a competitive yet respectful environment. Our rules provide a clear, consistent, and fair framework for everyone. We aim to educate and correct behavior first, ensuring LeagueHub remains a welcoming space for all gamers to improve and enjoy themselves.

Appeals Process

If you feel a punishment was unwarranted, follow these steps to submit an appeal.

Check Eligibility

Only punishments of 1 Day or longer are eligible for an appeal. Each punishment may only be appealed once.

Choose Your Method

For a standard punishment, open a staff ticket. If your appeal concerns a staff member, DM a Senior Staff member directly.

Await the Outcome

Your case will be reviewed by uninvolved staff members. All decisions made after an appeal review are final.
